Editing the Music Video

To edit the music video I have used iMovie and I found it very easy to use and it created a good final product for me. The clips were easy to put together using different transitions, effects and sound editing.

These are some of the effects that you can put onto a clip and I decided to use the raster effect to give it an old film effect in the part below.

All of the clips that I have used, I have edited the exposure and contrast to make the clip the correct brightness and shadowing. I did this by using the inspector tool.

What Have I Learnt?

From creating this music video I have found that the lip syncing of the actor/actress needs to be very expressive otherwise it doesn't look very good without the original sound. If I were to do a lip syncing project again I would tell the actor to exaggerate the lyrics more so it looks better in the final video with music over the top.

What Have I Learnt?

From doing this task I have learnt about all of the technologies that I have used when doing the music video and planning for it. I have also learnt about what techniques I can use within each program and how well I can use each of the programs that I have used. Also I have improved my skills with most of the programs that I have used and finally I have improved my skills with all of the hardware that I have used including the camera for filming and taking photos.
