3rd July- Barry Island

On the 3rd July as a class we went to Barry Island to learn how to use a green screen and create a music video. We used the fresh prince intro song to base our music video around and tried to imitate all of the scenes individually. We were put into groups were we did around 10 seconds each of the music video, this was then used all together to create a final music video on iMovie.

In my section we had two actors using a green screen imitating the graffiti scene. We had to link the music with the scene that we were recording so the two were synced together. Also we had to put in a fake graffiti background afterwards and sync the music with the clip

Technology Used

Camera

To record our Music video we used a camera like the one above, this gave it a very professional look with good quality. The camera was the main part of the video however the video still needed to be edited afterwards to give it a special effect of however the video needs to look.

iMac

We used Apple iMacs to edit our work on and these are much faster than windows computers which made it easier to edit. Also it had the software needed to edit which is better than windows computers too.

iMovie

The software that we used to edit with was iMovie and this is a very easy programme to use but it is very good and you can do a lot of things on there like using a green screen which is what we used.
