What Have I Learnt?
From doing this task I have learnt about the genres of music and what each genre consists of. I have found out that there is normally a link between the video and the genre, this means that that for example most dance music videos will have a routined dance in the video and the video will be quite bright and fun. Another example of this is that in alternative rock the videos are normally quite dark with low key lighting and the mise en scene is usually a stage with the whole band playing the song. This shows that I have learnt the similarities between each music video in a genre and the codes and conventions of music videos in a specific genre.
